EDIT: We're now in our second year of this one year journey. Does that mean this was another failed quest, despite my pithy remarks full of self-confidence? Well, I will let you decide, but we keep up this odyssey. Stay the course if you'd like!

This New Year, rather than set course on a failed quest toward self-betterment, I decided to finally accomplish a goal I have talked about for years. (Plus, can you really improve upon perfection?)

Throughout the year, I will watch the entire list of AFI’s 100 Greatest American Films of All Time. Since it is the most recent, I will be using the 10th Anniversary Edition released in 2007.

Some of the listed movies are among my favorites. Some I have watched for classes. Others will be completely new for me. Either way, each film will be watched or re-watched in the order of my choosing.

Long after you have given up on that diet or forgotten to head to the gym, I will be watching movies so feel free to tune in and watch along with me!
